Naturopath and Licensed Acupuncturist (she/her)

About Me

Hi, I’m Dr. Bobi Farrow, a licensed naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist. I grew up on a 30-acre organic farm in rural Nebraska, where my early exposure to plants and natural living sparked a lifelong curiosity about healing. Though my path began with challenges including childhood adversity and struggles with my own depression, anxiety, and neurospiciness, those experiences laid the foundation for my work today. They taught me that healing is nonlinear, deeply personal, and worth fighting for.

My Approach to Therapy

I offer a whole-person approach that blends Eastern medicine with naturopathic principles. My treatment recommendations often include acupuncture, botanical medicine, lifestyle guidance, diet and nutrition help, and somatic awareness to support emotional regulation, resilience, and nervous system healing. I also incorporate esoteric acupuncture and nature cure traditions, drawing on energetics, ritual, and the healing power of the natural world. I prioritize accessibility, safety, and authenticity, creating a collaborative space where you can explore healing at your own pace.

A Bit More About Me

When I’m not seeing patients, I’m usually tending my homestead, growing herbs, gardening, and making plant-based medicines from scratch. I live with my partner, our dog, cat, and a lively flock of chickens who bring daily joy (and eggs!). I value slowness, seasonal living, and deep listening. For me, medicine is sacred, it’s about helping people come home to themselves.

Naturopathy with Dr. Bobi

Naturopathy is a holistic approach to health care that focuses on supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself. It blends modern medical knowledge with traditional healing methods, using natural therapies to treat the root causes of illness rather than just managing symptoms.

Naturopathic care often includes a combination of clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle counseling, and other natural therapies. Practitioners work closely with clients to understand their unique health history, lifestyle, and goals, and then create individualized treatment plans that promote long-term wellness.

Whether you're dealing with chronic health issues, stress, fatigue, or simply want to optimize your overall well-being, naturopathy offers a gentle, whole-person approach to healing that empowers you to take charge of your health.

Acupuncture Add-Ons

Enhance your acupuncture session with optional add-on therapies designed to deepen your results and target specific concerns. Each add-on is $15 and can be incorporated seamlessly into your treatment.

  • Cupping: Uses gentle suction to increase circulation, release muscle tension, and help move stagnant energy. Great for tight shoulders, back pain, and stress held in the body.

  • Tui Na: A therapeutic form of Chinese medical bodywork that uses hands-on techniques to address pain, stiffness, and musculoskeletal imbalances while supporting overall flow and function.

  • Gua Sha: Involves smooth, repeated strokes along the skin to promote circulation, reduce inflammation, and encourage lymphatic drainage. Especially helpful for chronic tension and recovery.

Dr. Bobi will typically recommend what add-on(s) will best support your body and goals that day, so you don’t have to guess—just show up and let us take care of the rest.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Standalone Body Work

This standalone bodywork session focuses on hands-on healing techniques rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine—no acupuncture required. Treatments may include fire cupping, Tui Na, and Gua Sha, either individually or in combination, based on what your body needs most that day.

  • Fire Cupping: Uses heat to create suction that increases circulation, releases deep muscle tension, and helps move stagnation. Excellent for tight muscles, chronic pain, stress, and recovery.

  • Tui Na: A therapeutic medical massage that uses targeted pressure and movement to address pain, stiffness, and structural imbalances while supporting overall energy flow.

  • Gua Sha: A scraping technique that promotes circulation, reduces inflammation, and supports lymphatic drainage—great for chronic tension and stuck areas.

Dr. Bobi will assess your needs and guide the session, offering expert recommendations on which modalities will be most effective for your goals. This is a powerful option for those wanting focused, results-driven bodywork with a holistic approach.

Standalone Body Work Session - $20

Ear Seeds

Ear seeds are a gentle, non-invasive form of Chinese medicine that supports the nervous system and whole-body balance through specific points on the ear that correspond to the entire body. Tiny seeds are placed with medical-grade adhesive to provide continuous, subtle stimulation for several days after your visit.

This service is offered as a standalone option for those who want the benefits of Chinese medicine without a full acupuncture or bodywork session. It’s also a perfect way to experience acupuncture principles without needles, making it ideal for first-timers or anyone who prefers a more low-key approach.

Common reasons people choose ear seeds include support for stress, anxiety, sleep, hormone balance, pain, digestion, and emotional regulation. Dr. Bobi will assess your goals, select the appropriate points, and show you how to gently activate the seeds at home for ongoing support.

Ear Seeds (Standalone) - $10
