Jujubee Johnson

Mental Health Support Dog

Meet Jujubee, Kendra's sweet and soulful American Bully therapy dog and our unofficial clinic greeter. With her gentle spirit, love of cuddles, and constant craving for snacks, Jujubee brings warmth and comfort to everyone she meets. Whether she’s offering a calm presence during sessions or leaning in for head pats, Jujubee is always ready to share her unconditional love. Her favorite things? Belly rubs, being told she’s a good girl, and making people smile just by being her lovable self.

Therapy animals like Jujubee play a powerful role in the healing process by offering comfort, emotional support, and a calming presence. Research shows that interacting with therapy animals can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and increase feelings of safety and connection—especially during emotionally difficult sessions. For many clients, the simple act of petting a dog or receiving nonjudgmental affection creates a sense of trust and grounding, helping them feel more at ease and open in the therapeutic space. Jujubee doesn’t just warm laps—she helps warm hearts and create an environment where healing can truly begin.
